THE REGIONS

From this page you can go to:

the new Regions 1 page from which to access Conference, Defunct leagues of the North and current North-based leagues

and

to the South region where the buttons might not look as if they are working, but they are.

     The Defunct leagues are

          the Cheshire County League;

          the Lancashire Combination;

          the Midland League;

          the North Eastern League;

          and

          the Yorkshire League.

      The current North based leagues are:

          the Northern Premier League (1968-present);

          the NCEL (1982-present);

          the North West Counties League (1982-present);

          the Northern League (1889-present).

    The SOUTH includes:

           the Southern League,

           the Isthmian league,

           the Combined Counties League,

           the Eastern Counties League,

           the Essex Senior League,

           the Hellenic League,

           the Kent League,

           the South Midlands League,

           and

           the Western League.

Once into the 'regions' you can access 'League Home Pages' which will tell you briefly about the origins of the leagues included and enable you to see early Final Tables for the competitions.  From these you can follow the links provided which lead you onto more Final Tables from the past, together with brief notes on changes in the competition.  Details of exactly what's on the site are being put onto the 'region' pages in stages.

The main aim in redeveloping the site is to provide wide coverage of non-league soccer in the country.
