Welcome to ARCHIVE CENTRAL. Up to now this site has covered non-league
soccer history by league. In a new
move, there will be some coverage by season
– starting with a gap-filler between
where the old non-league tables site developed
by Chris got to (1988-1989) and where the
late Tony Kempster’s archive began
(1997-1998) + a bit of a look at some very
early seasons when league football was just
beginning in this country.
The starter seasons were 1893-1894 and 1989-1990.
Tables for 1990-1991 have now been added,
with later additions being for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 (each with so many leagues included that
3 pages have been necessary for both seasons).
The latest additions are 1888-1893 (Football
League and non-league) and two pages of tables
from the 1991-1992.
Once more seasons have been added, the buttons
will have to be changed.
